Description
This hand-held educational board develops children’s emotional intelligence and teaches them to recognize emotions and feelings, including fear, joy, sadness, and anger.
The board consists of 4 blocks, which the child can use to create as many as 64 different faces expressing different feelings. Exercises performed with the help of this board offer great opportunities to teach children proper emotional management, how to deal with their emotions and what they mean. Exercise 1
Roll the dice A. Ask the child to arrange the 4 wooden blocks so that the facial expression matches the pattern rolled on the dice. This is a good exercise for the child to observe how changes in our eyes, mouth, etc. affect our emotions.
Exercise 2
Ask your child to use the 4 wooden blocks and arrange them in such a way as to show their emotions today. Exercise 3
Roll the second die. Ask the children to arrange the 4 wooden blocks to show how they would feel if they encountered the situation shown on the die. There are 6 different situations, and children may react differently to the same situation. For example, if children see a dog, some will be very happy because they love animals. However, some will be scared because they are afraid of dogs. Parents or teachers should ask children why they react this way in this situation. Exercise 4
In emotional education, it is also important for our children to be able to recognize and understand the feelings of others. This is one of the basic skills that children will need to learn.
